These Chromascapes were created throughout Boulder, Colorado, capturing varied seasons and scenes. Several images were made from the base of the Flatirons at NCAR, overlooking the city. Others reveal the quiet beauty of winter snowstorms sweeping across rural ranch lands. A walk at Boulder Reservoir on a crisp winter afternoon resulted in the Chromascape of Coot Lake. The expansive spring grasslands along Highway 93—an iconic gateway to Boulder—offered dramatic colors and structure for a pair of images. Completing the series are scenes capturing Colorado’s mountain wildflowers and autumn aspens
