FIRST LIGHT ON LOS LAGOS
Watching sunrise on a lake has always been a source of joy and peace for me. This morning was no different. Los Lagos is series of lakes that sit on the border of Gilpin County and Boulder County and reflect the Continental Divide. I arrived when the sky just began to hint at the coming day and set my camera on the east bank of the lake. This image was made in the morning twilight as the sky glowed blue with the impending sunrise. This scene has the lake in the foreground, the shoreline with the fields and forest beyond, and the mountain peaks rising in the distance. This is Chromascape 020. ~ Marc
