AIRPORT RUNWAY LIGHTS AND TWILIGHT SKIES
On a visit to see my kids Western Colorado University, I went to the Gunnison airport in the predawn darkness to make a Chromascape of the runway lights at sunrise. For this image, I set up my camera in the bed of my truck to clear the chainlink fence and get a clear view of the runway lights as I shot into the rising sun. The many colors of runway lights, some blinking and some constant, contrasted beautifully with the deep blues and light purples of the morning twilight sky. This is Chromascape 036. ~ Marc
