SUNSET ON NEW YORK HARBOR FROM BATTERY PARK
This photograph was made at New York City’s Battery Park looking out at the Statue of Liberty in the last glow sunset. It was October and it had been cold and raining all afternoon. The sky mostly cleared of clouds at the horizon letting the light from the sun which was already well below the horizon to illuminate the many cloud layers over the harbor. The lights on the horizon are from water traffic and Ellis Island. This is Chromascape 046. ~ Marc
