CHROMASCAPE 055

I was headed to meet a friend during a snowstorm and cutting through Hygiene after an accident closed the highway. While traveling on this quiet two lane country road, I was struck by the the complete absence of color and the stillness of the winter scene playing out across the farmland. Sometimes by taking the road less traveled, we really do experience something wonderful. I stopped and made this image of the moment. Chromascape 055 is farmland covered in a winter blanket of snow, a line of leafless cottonwood trees, all set against a whiteout snowy sky. ~ Marc
