CHROMASCAPE 128
THE AMPHITHEATHER ON THE DESCHUTES RIVER
I was in Bend for a week in March to watch my youngest race in the collegiate ski nationals at Mt. Bachelor. She was a competitive Nordic skier throughout college and this was her senior year and last races. I wouldn’t miss it for anything and I had a great time cheering her and the team on. After the each day’s races, I would go into town and explore Bend. This Chromascape was made on the Deschutes River near the Old Mill District. It is beautiful and cold winter evening. The late twilight sky washes everything in a blue light as the river silently glides by. The grasses and trees on the river bank are rich with browns and yellows in their winter state. The lights from the amphitheater across the river. I love the way the river reflects the evening colors of winter. This is Chromascape 128. ~ Marc
