Each Thanksgiving, my family comes from all corners of the world to share time together at the farm in Michigan. I look forward to this special gathering all year. There are a ton of us, We share lively conversations and stories from the previous twelve months, long walks, great meals, games, and most of all it’s a place we all feel loved.

I’m an early riser and in November it is usually before first light. This morning, I set my camera at the edge the lake before the sky had began to hint at daybreak. There is something incredibly peaceful and grounding about being present while the day whispers its good morning. This image was taken as the sky filled with its first blue glow of light. The forest across the lake is just a shadow against the sky and all are reflected in the still water. There is a lovely mist on the lake that defines the far bank. This is Chromascape 129. ~ Marc
