CHROMASCAPE 151

While I was visiting Maine, a good friend asked me to visit Wells Beach at the harbor inlet and make a Chromascape towards Drake’s Island Beach. This was a place he and his siblings spent every summer in their youth. Chromascapes 151 and 152 are my way of capturing that horizon—the inlet, the ocean, the beach, and the sky on a perfect summer day. I wanted to abstract the colors and feeling of this place with my artwork so they could relive and hold the memories of their childhood summers. ~ Marc
