CHROMASCAPE 153

Chromascapes 153 and 154 were made around 11 a.m. on Gerrish Island in Maine. The light was intense, bringing out the vivid blues of the water and the crisp contrast of the exposed rocks at low tide. As waves washed over the rocks and kelp beds, I used the distinct line of Crescent Beach with its trees and white shore to frame the ocean and incoming waves. The vibrant light and rich colors captured the dynamic energy of that late morning scene. ~ Marc
