CHROMASCAPE 158
STORMY EVENING ON BUZZARDS BAY
This image was made later the same evening as Chromascapes 156 and 157, shortly after the sun had dropped below the horizon. The summer storm had mostly dissipated, and the sky was streaked with magnificent light, color, and clouds.
I say this all the time because it's true: one of the greatest gifts of creating my Chromascapes is being present in one place and witnessing how continually evolving light and color transform the landscape. The experience touches my soul. I'm grateful for these special moments that I get to abstract into my art, preserving the memory of a place—or the people—I was there to visit. Chromascape 158 is one of those beautiful moments, captured while sharing an evening with a friend on Cape Cod. ~ Marc
