Manhattan, NY
I moved to NYC in the beginning of 1994 to assist Richard Avedon and fell in love with the city. I called New York home for the next 12 years. During that time I always treasured walks along the rivers that make Manhattan and island. The large expanse of water and open sky gave me a sense of peace that countered the fast-paced barely in control chaos that was life in my 20's and early 30's. Now whenever I visit my mom and daughter on the UWS, I make a point to walk along the Hudson River to re-experience the water, the light, and the peaceful energy of this place. I usually make a Chromascape or two as well.
Stories and details about each Chromascape can be found by clicking on the “Image Info” button while in Lightbox View.
